Opening

Now that I'm in Tenerife for more than 2 days I think it's obligatory to start writing my blog :P
And during these days more things have happened than otherwise in half a year...

The arrival went all well, they came to pick me up, recognized me, were very happy; like in a fairy tale. My first little shock was when it turned out that my very lovely Italian flatmate doesn't drink alcohol, and the Belgian doesn't like chocolate (I think he's just kidding, no person like that exists!)

The day after we went to the association to show ourselves, then our future language teacher accompanied us to the bank to make our bank account. I truly think that it can count as our first Spanish lesson, now we know what 'savings' and 'bank card' are in Spanish. We received at least 30 pages of information and had to sign at last 10 pages of these. I will translate it on nights when I'm bored so by the end of the year I would know what I have signed... :D
I've also prepared the first Hungarian meal. I had such a success that I prepared it again -> mushroom stew with rice yummmm :P

We also had our first official Spanish lesson and formation where the lady spoke a little (all right, very!) fast, but thank God it wasn't only me who did not understand everything (it feels quite relieving...)
On that occasion we went to the beach, afterall we've been here for 2 days and this is a must-do, right?

My favaourite conversation so far was when a lady asked me if I speak Spanish. I was: Oh well, solo un poco. And the response: Great, you speak very well! - and then started to splutter.
Welcome to Spain! :)
